The BVHQ Guild makes various items to contribute to those in need. So far this year, we have gifted seventy-one comfort quilts: 10 to Walking in Light who serves people in Worcester and the Blackstone Valley; 14 to Peach of Bread Community Kitchen; 47 to Department of Children and Families (these include 23 quilts for babies to 17 year olds and 24 for those who are aging out of foster care.
We continue to create both of the following:
- Comfort quilts for people in Hospice care, and
- Fidget Quilts for people with memory loss and confusion
